BSOD when exiting games

Random freezing - exhausted most causes...

I only get BSODs when exiting any game with decent graphics after playing for about an hour. If i play these games in windowed mode i dont seem to have that problem..
When playing Battlefield 3 yesterday the game seemed to froze-up every 5mins and would only unfreeze if i alt tabbed and hit CTRL+ALT+DEL and then open the task manager (had the same problem in other FPS).

My configuration, i have the latest drivers installed and i tried all kinds of older drivers for my VGA:
Windows 7 64-bit
Mainboard GA-MA785GT-UD3H
Phenom II X2 555 - no OC
Nvidia GTX 460
4x1GB Corsair 1333 CL9
1x HDD WD Caviar Black 500GB
PSU Antec True Power 550W ~ 4years old

- ran the memtest in DOS for 5 hours with no errors
- ran prime95 for 20min with no errors, temp at 34 degrees max
- ran furmark for 15min, GPU at 61 degrees max
- ran both prime95 and furmark for 10mins, no problems

The windows have been reinstalled about 5 months ago, i had the same problems before that also.

What can cause these BSODs ?

Now i have even a bigger problem, since yesterday after i updated my drivers and installed a new bios version the PC keeps freezing every 15min. I reinstalled the windows, reset the bios and still my pc keeps freezing (no bsod) every 15mins or so no matter what im doing....

P.S i also did a full hard drive scan yesterday using the seagate tool and it found some errors, this morning right before i reinstalled the windows i did another full hard drive scan using data lifeguard from wd witch also found an error #0223 but fixed it.

Your Hard Disk may be failing, I'll strongly recommend that you make a backup of all your data.
Run a RAM Test www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html

Same cause, Memory Corruption

The CPU should be tested too.
Run Prime 95 to test your CPU. Carefully the instructions in this tutorial: CPU - Stress Test with Prime95. Run 3 separate tests, one on each of the settings (Blend, Small FFTs, Large FFTs). Post back with your results.
Note that this test may overheat the CPU, ensure proper cooling

I think the problem is solved, i upped the voltage a bit on the ram and tweaked the timings a bit and the pc seems stable for several hours now.

well the problem is back it seems, i get blue screen very often after i exit a game in fullscreen. If i play the games in windowed mode everything is fine it seems. Since my last post i changed the motherboard and cpu and the ram and reinstalled windows so from my old configuration only the hard drive, gpu and hard disk remain.
Help me narrow down the problem hardware causing the bsod please.
