So I'm trying to use a TP-link WA850RE range extender to extend the range of my connectify hotspot off my desktop computer. The desktop is using a TP-link WN822N adapter, and I've updated the drivers to the latest versions.

The extender has been set-up using it's setup wizard, but the second it connects to the hotspot, my desktop Bluescreens. I've been trying to fix it for the last week, and i've got no clue anymore!

The reason for the whole setup is to try and connect a PS4, Amazon fire TV and Xbox 360 to my university's Eduroam network, so if anyone has any better idea how to do this, that could a solution!

Thanks in advance!!! :D

Firstly, thank you for your help!

I did as you said and updated the software, and for a moment there, it seemed to have done the trick. Unfortunately, no sooner had I said "yay, it's fixed", it BSODed again. Nightmare.

Looking at the dump file, it seems to be the same driver playing up.

Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope....

How old the USB adapter actually? IMHO it would be better that you try another adapter that has the possibility to use the newer drivers.
