Hello,

Try flashing the latest BIOS for your laptop here: http://download.lenovo.com/UserFiles/Driver/en/Downloads and Drivers/G455 G555/WIN7/NAWA1110x64.exe
Code:

  Description:
: The embedded controller (EC) did not respond within the specified timeout period. This may indicate that there is an error in the EC hardware or firmware or that the BIOS is accessing the EC incorrectly. You should check with your computer manufacturer for an upgraded BIOS. In some situations, this error may cause the computer to function incorrectly.
After that, run all three Prime95 tests for a good two hours apiece. See here: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/100352-cpu-stress-test-prime95.html

I'd expect the motherboard, RAM, and CPU, in that order, to be the cause. Which test did you run? Be sure to run the other two, and see how they fare.

Again, I'd expect those same components to be at fault here. Try taking out one stick of RAM from the laptop, and then running Prime95 again. If you still get crashes, try just the other stick.

If crashes persist, you may consider replacing the motherboard or CPU. Is your lappy still under warranty? If so, I would recommend sending it into them for repair/replacement.
