Hi all,

I know a fair bit about computers-operating systems but I can't seem to find the problem causing this...
Maybe you guys could help me? Otherwise i'll just do a clean format which I rather not do...

On Google I found these errors to be related to suspending, hibernating, ...
The PC just BSOD randomly every +-2 hours...

I didn't install any new drivers or hardware... (that I know off...)

I would much appreciate it if you guys could help.

Thank you!

Welcome g0d0rz,
Are you using the windows 7 rc? That is shutting down every 2 hours now.

Edit: Nevermind it looks like you're using the RTM version, That's about all I can tell from the info in that zip file, I'm sure someone with better knowledge of reading those will be along to help you out.

It's RTM (well the one just before actually...but also 7600 so it shouldn't matter)

If the RC restarts every 2 hours I am sure it won't give you a BSOD but actually restart :P

It worked perfectly 1-2 weeks ago...

Any build prior to RTM is timebombed as well, methinks.

Since when? Because it just happened 1-2 weeks ago

Would it not reboot instead of showing a BSOD?

I get this error: DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE

Or is M$ playing hard ball?

hI AND WELCOME

All of these were caused by the same thing.. Driver state changed. Some device driver (maybe HD, or USB,) changed its power state (maybe from sleep to wake or the inverse. and the system could not get it to respond

I wold first run a system file check to verify and repair your system files
(type cmd in search>right click and run as admin>sfc /scannow)

LET US KNOW THE RESULT OF THE REPORT AT THE END

We can go from there

The SFC said my system had some problems and that I should check my log for more details.
I have attached it.

I won't even start trying to see what the problem is...
