BSOD's for the last 3 Months, were spaced out but now more regular

Hello,

I have been getting BSOD's for about three months spaced a couple of weeks apart, about 6 weeks ago I got two on consecutive days, so had PC apart, reseated cables,and changed my RAM.

It's been OK for about 6 weeks then yesterday I suffered another BSOD, removed all USB entries in device manager, then today I have been using PC since 10am until about 6pm, no problems, I left it during the evening with about three browser windows open, went to close the windows abd shut the PC down, and as soon as I moved my mouse to close a browser window I had another BSOD (cant remember if I got as far as clicking the red X?).

I have uploaded my debug file, I do hope someone can help me?

Thanks Golden,

It does not seem like there is an option to update drivers for Cloudfogger, so I noted details of cbfltfs.sys file, I uninstalled Cloudfogger, then reinstalled, unfortunately the cbfltfs.sys file has the same version number!

So I guess I need to look for alternative software that does the same job?

Yes, unfortunately that seems to be the only option. You could try contacting the developer and see if they might have a solution too.

Its strange as I ran it for ages without any BSOD's its also been installed on my wife's PC for the same period of time with no issues.

I have looked at a couple of supposed alternatives, but they do not work in the same way (Cloudfogger also has an Andriod app so I can access file from my phone/tablet)

I will keep looking.

Please run MSINFO, and save the .nfo file and upload it here. I'll see if I can dig a bit deeper to understand the issue.

OK. Can you also locate the eventlog, and load that here as a .txt file? Might be easier just to follow this:

1. Download the DM Log Collector application to your desktop by clicking the link below

DM Log Collector.exe

2. Run it by double-clicking the icon on your desktop, and follow the prompts.
3. Locate the .ZIP file that is created on your desktop, and upload it here in your next reply.

Check for other zip files on the desktop...check the contents.

Ok, ran DM Log Collector again, the zip does contain an event log.

I have attached the zip file (this one is a lot larger than the first one!)

OK. I cant see anything obvious that would be interfering with CloudFogger. On your wife's PC, does she use the same antivirus as you?

Hi again,

Yes my wife uses the same anti-virus, interestingly there was a new version of Cloudfogger released yesterday, I installed it, but it looks like the file in question (cbfltfs.sys) is the same version.
