hi, a few days before I installed the latest version Firefox in my VAIO laptop, then blue screen happened random .
Today I uninstalled the firefox but the blue screen still don't want to leave. Any service process or something is still in my laptop? I think maybe some process comflict with my current software.

Thanks for analysis and helping.

Make sure your dump logging is enabled.
  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click System.
  3. Click the Advanced tab, and then click Settings under Startup and Recovery.
  4. Check Write an even to the system log, and Automatically restart.
  5. In the Write debugging information list, click Small memory dump (256k).
Location of Dumps:
C:\Windows\minidump

hi, I set as you said and chose the option Small memory dump (256k).
I have already uninstalled firefox and some software. Here came BSODs twice before I post this, so I used the tool and grab all infos again.
Really don't know how to fix it.

That's a hard drive error.

Run Disk Check on your Hard Drive for file system errors and bad sectors on it:
Upload a screenshot of your hard disk using Crystal Disk Info:
Make a hard drive test from the hard drive manufacturers website:
Test your Hard Drive with SeaTools:

hi, koolkat77, I followed your guide and got some feedback:

Run Disk Check on your Hard Drive for file system errors and bad sectors on it: I run it in command line and finished it when the laptop restarted. Results seemed ok.

Upload a screenshot of your hard disk using Crystal Disk Info: Please check the attached photo. Seems all good&healthy.

Make a hard drive test from the hard drive manufacturers website: I knew one of my disc is from Seagate. So I followed to find the Seagate test, but it guided me to use Seatools finally. So I skipped it to next one test.

Test your Hard Drive with SeaTools: Hmm, I think there's big problem here. When I run the Seatools, it gave me a error. Please check the screenshot "fata error:device discovery". I don't know what it means. Please help me again.Thanks.

And I chose another option "Seatools for DOS" to run seatools on my laptop.

Did that occur during installation, or afterwards?

Where did you download the Windows 7 ISO from?

Download from here, and redo the bootable USB drive, then install again. Be sure that all other storage drives/devices, with the exception of the drive you are installing too, are physically unplugged during installation.
