Build 7100 Vs 7077 x-64 anyone. 7077 better for me

I'm pretty sure I heard/read that was a really bad idea Stannitje, I thought it opened up lopeholes etc.
Oh?

I didn't know. You say I should remove it then?

Yeah it's just the same as the "–no-sandbox" method. Try the Beta that RST recommended here. Google Chrome Beta

Ok,

The link you posted is dead for me...
But doesn't matter, I didn't use Chrome a lot anyway, I'll stick to my good old firefox ;)

The link works fine for me.

And yeah, I am using the Beta without any trouble. I haven't tried the 'standard' version, so I don't know about any issues with it.

It's interesting how the experiences with 7100 are all across the board.

I received my first Windows 7 BSOD with a clean install of 7100 x64. I've used 7000, 7048, 7068, and 7077. My secondary hard disk and secondary optical drive have suddenly disappeared. No sign of them in Disk Management, but they're present in the BIOS so I do know they're working.

I've had no troubles at all with Chrome, or rather the latest build of Chromium. It is my primary browser. 7068 and up fixed the --in-process plugins issue.

I am having problems with 7100/RC too compared to 7077 which was perfect.

Here's the text from my other post on this issue:
Have been using 7000, 7077 & now the official RC i.e. 7100 on my tabletpc (HP TC 4400 tablet PC with 2.5 GB RAM Core 2 Duo)

Did a fresh install of 7100 few days back but I am noticing it isslower than 7077. Same limited set of application installed on bothi.e. MSO2K7 Lotus Notes 8.5 Firefox 3.0.10 Acrobat gtalk.. thats it.Both updated with all drivers etc. only from windows update no mfrdrivers. Same effects etc. enabled in both (only desktop composition& visual style & smooth fonts)

System is much slower and IE as well as windows explorer take time todisplay anything and also hang at times. Bootup to login screen is muchslower than 7077.

WEI scores for hard disk ram cpu etc are all same as earlier.

Is someone else having this problem ?
Any experts who could guide me as to how to go about troubleshooting this ?
Any chance that MS would have enabled more debugging/reporting options in 7100 vs 7077 ?
I had drive imaged the 7077 & am thinking of going back if I don't find a resolution in a day or two.
