I had been using xp until recenty i hear all these news about windows 7 on many websites so i decided to make the switch. So far i'm very happy with the decision! In xp i tried to run only half of the programs and my com just hanged and i had to force restart. Very happy with windows 7 as it did the job well. List of programs ran is at the video's link.

Lol, you will probably need at least 8 GB of memory for all those applications to run smoothly. I'm surprised you got all that running relatively smoothly with 4 GB.

Starting all those programs with a script and a fast SSD would be awesome :)

I didn't actually use the programs though. Just switching from one to another that's why it managed to run ok with 4GB of ram. Ouch SSD.. So expensive.. I'll rather upgrade my graphics card or buy more ram with that money haha.
