Drako's machine is trying to update the USB Composite device driver (this is a Microsoft driver)

Microsoft can make it misleading. Driver date "6/21/2006" is for usb.inf. The .INF (driver installation instruction file) probably hasn't changed since 2006. It still installs the same two driver executable .sys file names. The dates of the .sys files themselves that are more recent.

Appears Drako is installing a USB wireless keyboard/mouse. (The string in quotes above is what the mfr burned into the device firmware)

Best guess, something looks corrupt. I think the initial problem (that caused the other error messages that followed) was the digital signature for usbccgp.sys failed

According to your specs, your dual booting,
It might be that your DL on the W8 OS, and the device is not W8 compatible.
Could work on W7 OS, my wireless kit didnt work on W8.
