Hi, I was using vga to connect to the pc, and the video and audio play well.
But I have a hdmi port in the samusng pc, which I thought that i could try hdmi.
I bought a new video card having the hdmi and connected the cpu and pc with the hdmi cable
Now also i see the video and audio in videos and movies.
the video card i bought was nvidia geforce 210.
Is there a real way to see the differences in video and audio playing in streaming videos and movies .
The computer has the max resolution of 1920x1080.
My query is ,
can i notice the video quality improvement in this resolution, in which vga also played the video.
If so, how
I query this because, there seem to be not sizable change in the video and audio experience, having the hdmi connection.

Really only you can answer that question.

Some time ago I switched to HDMI from VGA also using a GEForce 210. It improved text quality and that was what I was interested in. I suspect this was due to the questionable quality of the VGA cable. Since VGA is analog what you get will depend largely on the quality of your hardware. Much depends on your previous video card, your monitor, quality of the VGA card, and the videos you are watching. Video quality is also subjective. I would not expect any difference in audio quality.

To get best quality you should use the native resolution of the monitor. CRT monitors can display a wide range of resolutions with good quality but modern monitors work best with the native resolution.

Lmiller, thanks for your answer.
Are you using your card for only pc connection but also tv connection.

I bought this to have both hdmi sort of experience of digital signal to pc and tv.

I did not find a kind of video showing the difference if any in my stated resolution between vga and hdmi.
sub query:
Do your nvidia control panel says the connector to pc correctly as hdmi to pc or dvi to pc.
My pc shows ulta , the connections between hdmi to tv, for the connection to pc and dvi to pc for the tv connection.
I think that there is a bug not at all fixed by nvidia or will be fixed by nvidia for this card.
If you share your details I will be happy to note.
I am using hdmi supported monitor samusng and samsung tv.
I am using a splitter to both pc and tv
