Win7 froze while in the "completing installation" part of the installation. My mice and keyboard were accidentally unplugged. So is there a way of cancelling the instal without them?

Then what is the recourse except to hold down the shutdown button until it powers down? If your formatted the partition or started with free space on the HD then I think I would start from scratch to be on the safe side. If you installed over an existing system then power it back on and see what happens. There's no way I can tell you what state the install is in from here.

Other than having a custom build we know little about your system.

My suggestion with no information about your motherboard would be, (verify that your mouse and keyboard are using USB 2.0 ports and not USB 3.0 ports).

I do agree with MilesAhead and start over with the install using the proper media.

Here is a tutorial by Brink that should guide you.
