cannot complete assesment

After installing new nvidia card, Whenever I try to run the windows experience index assessment tool I get an error:
cannot complete assesment.
something about error being reported from the operating system
Any one knows what is going on?

Hello ofergal and welcome to the forums.

1st thing you should do is install the latest supported driver for you graphics card.

This can be done either by running Windows Update , or by downloading the Vista version of you graphics card from Nvidia.

Any one knows what is going on?

Go to c:\windows\Performance\WinSAT and delete the DataStore directory.

That fixed the same problem for me.
