Cannot connect to internet

your computer appears to be correctly configured but the device or resource(web proxy) is not responding.

This is the error i get.

I have tried 3 different connections with 2 different wifi cards (built in and usb)

Whats wrong with it now. its realy starting to annoy me every day something heppens to stop me connecting, normally something to do with dns and now this.WTF> :mad2::cry:

Anyways can someone please help me with this error.

Happy to, but need a ton more information. what network setup, why the proxy, what is the error you are getting, etc.

OK i'm having the same problem... first the webpages were loading really slow... tried the connection on my sister's windows vista and its was loading normally.... now i cant get onto the internet after i tried connecting to my school's wireless ... my windows 7 isnt even loading from normal cables.. plz help?! i'm about to cry here

if the page is loading slowly, then reset Internet explorer or use and alternate web browser, such as mozilla firefox or opera. if internet is not working at all. do this step and let us know

1) open cmd in start search box.
2) check your default gateway, for router's address by typing this command ipconfig /all.
3) type ping "default gateway" (mostly its 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1)
4) type ping 4.2.2.2 and let us know the results about both the ping statistics.

ok all those abbreviations are not helping lol... and well i turned off the web proxy and well its working ok now ... :confused:
