I do not even see it listed in the programs to set as default. I click on an email link and it sayd that it cannot perform the task because the email client is not configured properly. I am running Win 7 32 bit. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

yes start menu, default programs...set your default programs. The Thunderbird is not in that list of programs. I have selected it as default from within Thunderbird. It is default for Email and RSS feeds (from within TB)

I reinstalled Thunderbird and it appeared on that menu after the reinstall. Now set as default. Thanks. Why do your Start menu properties menus differ from mine? How did you get those options to appear there??

sorry this was directed at TGSOLDIER whose screen shot differed from mine
