Solved Cant boot win 7 hardive does work

heres my issue i am currently changing computers from my win7 machine to a windows 8 machine. i took the harddrive out of my windows 7 machine and plugged it into my new machine( it was set to boot last) everything worked fine i transfered my files and then went to put the harddrive back into the laptop and it didnt boot. the harddrive works as i can view the files on my win 8 machine but when it goes to boot in my laptop it doesnt work.

Couldn`t you have just used a flash drive to grab your files ?

Could you define "Doesn`t work" ??

Are you getting any error messages ?

Does the bios in the laptop see the hard drive ?
