Can't delete recorded tv show

I recorded a tv show and had to convert and shrink to be able to burn to dvd.

The original recording was 8.71gb and I want to delete it.
The message keeps saying it can't be deleted.

I set the folder in a different internal hdd.

How do I use IE to delete it?

Still don't know what you mean.
When I right click the file and say "delete", I get that message.

That happens if I use the Media Ctr or the file on the hdd.

go to the folder where the file is kept and delete it from there.

After a reboot, I was able to delete the folder on the hdd.
