Solved Cant Install Audio back onto my computer

I turn on my computer and seen that my sound was muted ....
I had a look at it and check the devices just to make sure and there was nothing there,
So I think that my driver died or something so I uninstalled it and now I cant install it back and it comes up with some errors.

Sound card : High Definition Audio Device
Windows: 7 64 bit
PC: Dell XPS 420

I tried different drivers and still getting an error.
Error 1: ExitError:error=Device object not present, restart the system and run again.
Error 2: Device object not present, restart the system and run setup again.

I don't how to to solve this or get pass it.
If anyone knows anything it would be really helpful.

You need the Dell sound driver. Non Dell drivers will either not install or will not work properly.

Here is the Dell SigmaTel driver for Vista 32/64 bit. It will work for Windows 7. Follow the listed Dell instructions to install.

I followed the instructions on the dell website and I still get the same error

Please follow the below mentioned steps in Order:

From the “Start menu”, click “Control Panel”. In Control Panel, click “Uninstall a Program”. In the “Programs and Features” window, select “SigmaTel HD audio”, and then click “Uninstall/Change”. In the User Account Control dialog box, click Continue. Follow all onscreen instructions to complete the removal. Then restart your system.

After uninstalling that driver, reinstall the Driver from the URL mentioned: http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/DriverDetails/DriverFileFormats/Product/xps-420?DriverId=4JDG5&FileId=2731098634&urlProductCode=False

After you have downloaded and double-clicked the file (R157052.EXE), it self-extracts and copy into the “C:\dell\drivers\R157052” folder on the hard drive. From the Start menu, in the Start Search field, type: C:\dell\drivers\R157052\Setup.exe, and then press “ENTER”. Follow all onscreen instructions to complete the installation.

Hi I found I way to fix it now.
I went to the bios and changed the audio from auto to on and it works now.
