Can't refresh excel with a connection to access db on shared network

Hi, I have an excel workbook 2013. When i tried to refresh the excel, it always prompt " do you want to connect to...?" Then asking for password. I didn't set password and i already give permission to everyone to access.
1. Why I can't refresh connection to access on shared network?
2. But why on other PC, it's working?
Can anyone explain to me? How to solve the problem? Thanks in advance.

How to know whether it is mapped drive or not? My external connection is \\computername\user\timerecord\record.accdb. i put it in user folder.

If its a mapped drive it shows up as a drive letter in my pc so then you would just connect to drive x IT: How to Map a Drive: Windows 7

Its likely the problem is the url isnt being resolved try mapping then try by drive letter
