I've been playing around with Catzilla for a while, like you I haven't registered so I just use the default entry level test.

Some folks may not like that you have to sit through the demo before the testing takes place, but it's only a few minutes.

Oddly enough, I get a higher score when I don't OC the graphics card. All the graphics related numbers in the list are higher when OCed, but the final score is still lower. Weird.

First score is no OC on graphics card.

Second score is max OC on graphics card.

Nice score mate. That is interesting, I'm running mine at stock will try a oc on the gpu later and see if it does the same for me.

I just re-ran it and got a lower score at stock speeds (didn't save it), from my observations it looks like the demo cartoon plays a role in the overall score. As it's playing, it leans heavily on the CPU while GPU usage is variable.

Something else that just popped into my head, the latest Nvidia drivers are giving me lower benchmark scores for the most part.

I don't think it uses xfire here I am scoring single card numbers

I don't mind it I know what they can do

Speaking of which I called AMD directly about the 2nd GPU going full load and they guy said to wait for a new driver

also told me the heat point is 100c for a HD7970 I asked if 85c was too hot he said no it can take much more :shock: so now

:devil2:If I can increase a little voltage I can make this thing do at least 1250 core 1600mem without it burning up lol

Here is a video of a guy who oc'ed a 7970 to 1680/1900 3dmark 11 was almost that of my two cards
