cd drive installation problem

Gateway DX4300 running Win7 home preimum. CD drives are in device manager but with yellow ?. Driver cannot be found. Win7 troubleshooter cannot solve problem. Problem is present on external CD and internal CD. Any help is appreciated.

In the device manager right click on the yellow marked driver and Update Driver Software\search automatically for updated driver software.


Is also a good idea to update everything in your desktop,starting with the Chipset Driver.

Did as you suggested. Loaded latest drivers but still get same message. Updates on the gateway site were installed. Problem remains.
