change from W8 back to W7
can i remove W8 and reinstall W7 on a friends laptop i was told W8 changed the bios and boot loader so thought i'd check in here and google this

You have to disable secure boot in the bios, and also change to legacy boot, if possible.

thanks guys its a friends laptop sorry not sure what type of laptop it is but must not be to old if it came with W8 on it. So thats all I do is disable the secure boot and legacy boot because we have the W7 disk but wasn't sure on if you could change heard rumors on W8 boot loader and other things only because I am a linux user and we had to change a few things on the grub loader

Clean Reinstall Windows 7
