change line of text in word so it's laid out 90 degrees to other text?

Is this possible? In word 2013 i am making a for sale poster and i want to put phone numbers at the botton from left to right and cut between them with scissors so people can pull off the number as you have i'm sure seen many times. But how can i rotate the numbers so the text is at a 90 degree angle to the text in the body of the ad?

Look in the character or paragraph format memu - select the angle you want. Sorry I can't provide exact instructions, I use a different Office suite, but the 'align text' or 'text alignment' feature is in most.

I have Office 2010 and looked in Word's Help for rotate text, several things in the list.

I tried searching for rotate text and just rotate and neither brought any results. there IS a rotate featuer which i already tried before i even posted this but it's greyed out. And when i hilight the text i want to rotate it still doesn't become active. Not does it say what it rotates, but it's under "page layout" then "arrange". I assume it's for text since the other options seem to be, one being "text wrapping". But even the search function doesn't reference that so maybe it's also not bringing up any others.

Can't find a character or paragraph format menu, but even right clicking the hilighted text doesn't bring anything up in that format menu.

Insert a table where you want the vertical text, rotate your text in each cell, then hide any borders you don't want showing. I attached an example of what it would look like.

Forgot to mention: If you just want to use the sample I posted, just replace the "x"s in the first cell with your phone number, then copy that cell and paste it into the other cells; that will also carry over the formatting. You can highlight all the cells, then right click on them to find where you can hide any borders should you want to.

No matter how much you reduce the bottom margin of the page, you will still have some white space. The quick and dirty way to eliminate that is to physically cut it off after printing the page.

Good idea by Lady Fitzgerald. I'd add that adjusting the bottom margin to the printer's minimum will lessen white space at the bottom.

Thanks for the help ! appreciate it. I used your template and copied the text then the text into the table in place of the sample text you had in the left cell and all worked fine. But when i tried to copy it into the next cell it goes 90 degrees like the text above the cells again. Then i noticed right clicking in the cell gave me the option of "text direction". That did the trick. So wacky the way they design some apps. Why can't they make is simple. I've used others where this was just intuitive. MS.....ugh....
