choose what closing the lid does

hello i have windows 7 stater and would like to choose what closing the lid dose to do nothing i go to power option but cant seem to change it dose stater not let me change this option if so is there a way to do it without having to upgrading

Hi quefol...I have a Samsung Netbook running Windows Starter and under Power Options > System Settings I am able to choose "Do nothing" for "When I close the lid"

problem solved turns out samsung has a fast start mode that disables most power settings just had to disable it
