Chrome and IE pop-ups open without text, only Icons.

Good evening folks,

Recently I have been having an enormous problem with both Chrome and IE browser popups opening without text, only icons. This is causing me enormous problems, for example, while uploading images to an online album viewing software for my clients (I am a photographer).This particular piece of software is web based, so when I opt to upload images, a popup opens and a browser page opens to allow me to navigate my PC filing system. Except, I can't! I am presented with only Icons, no text!

In the same way neither can I 'save as' an image I would like to save from the web, since i cannot navigate my filing windows explorer system through the popup screen provided.

I have searched the web high and low without a peep of this problem being experienced elsewhere. So it is with high hopes that someone here can shed some light onthe problem.

By "text" do you mean no file names are appearing ?
Use Clean boot,
Troubleshoot Application Conflicts by Performing a Clean Startup
