Are you suggesting that the installer for the Chrome browser offer to install VLC and Open Office?

You might not find too many people that want that trio of software. In fact, I would shy away from Open Office and go with Libre Office. The developers at Libre Office can take ideas and code from Open Office, but code cannot flow the other way.

thanks, but i was just taking the piss. (leg pulling)
although i use vlc once in a blue moon, i would shy away from it with chrome, in fact i hate chrome and only use firefox. it has become even better over the years.

I wrote to EA to suggest that new The Sims 4 should come with AutoCAD 2014 (not the LT version but the heavy one) and the Canon imagePROGRAF iPF825 heavy duty printer to offer better possibilities to design the houses for your Sims and get blueprints.

I call this The Sims 4 Complete Edition for Real Gamers.

You should email Google and ask them if they can splash MacDonalds adverts on the Chrome browser, and maybe a sponsorship for VLC from Nike.......its sure to go down very well.

Let's hope that kf10 has a tough skin. Some of the replies are blunt to say the least.

I use Chrome on one website (justin.tv) because Chrome does one thing (via a plug-in) that IE and Firefox do not do.

I'm not a big fan of build your own browser. I use too many different computers throughout the day. I need the browser to be/act that same on all of them... so IE it is (for the most part).

Firefox (the Pale Moon 64bit build) is what I use for this and other forums.

FF (whatever build) is a good choice, it's the most compatible with all the forum features.

The irony is, Chrome insists on downloading files that other browsers would just open in VLC if that is your default. The best you can do is set it to open in VLC after it downloads. You still have to manually delete the download. A Guy
