For awhile Open Link in Foreground Tab via Control + Shift + Left Click was broken. Works now.

Yeah, the numbers are flipping like crazy. Looking at the build number is a bit saner.
I'm running build 68163.

Is Chrome going to claim 'Final' once they have a significantly higher number than all other browsers?

Actually, does Google ever truly claim a 'final' version for any of their apps?

I don't know about Google. I'm running Chromium. From what I understand, Chrome takes Chromium as a base then adds their own "branded" modifications.

I had been trying from the nightly Chromium builds now and then to see if they fixed the new tab in foreground. I gave up. When I saw the update on Softpedia I figured it may work since supposedly it's a "beta" or some other status superior to nightly build(didn't even bother to read what they call it.)

Sure enough, open link in foreground tab works.
So far I'v had very good luck with Chromium builds in zip files.

It's my understanding that in some Google searches, Chrome still generates a unique ID to track you. Supposedly Chromium has removed that code once it was discovered and reported as a bug. But unless you sit there with a packet sniffer all day, who knows? Supposedly it's fixed.
