Client / user security

I am new in the realm of security privileges in regards to client and user access. I'm running 7 64 pro an was curious to know if someone knew of some tutorials in how to restrict program installation, deny access to the control panel and any good security settings for my employees that would prevent any accidental damage, denial of editing, and any other suggestions.
