Comcast email disappears intermittently

For a week or so, when I open Comcast mail using Windows Live Mail 2012, the inbox will erase in front of my eyes. Not every time but at least once a day. I have checked this with Comcast several times and maybe it is a glitch with Windows 7. The last thing I did was to run a repair on Windows Live in control panel. I was going to remove it and reinstall it. The email program is set in IMAP as well as our Windows 8 phones. We have the desk top and two laptops, all in IMAP. (I am not all that computer literate)

This problem does not seem to occur with Windows Live mail or Peak.org which I just subscribed to a couple of days ago. I tried to use Mozilla Thunderbird but that didn't work very well.

Any clues to what I am doing wrong?

Again

Just now, at 10:43, I opened my mail and it was there and then in a half second it was gone. nearly everything, Comcast and Peak. This is really bad and I have no clue how to fix it
