Solved Computer crashes after NVIDIA driver update

I have a samsung 300V laptop with
Windows 7 home premium 64 bit
Intel core i7
8 gb ram
NVIDIA gt 520MX graphic card
When I tried to update my NVIDIA driver it installs perfectly and it prompts me to restart the laptop. When I restart the windows logo appears and then the startup repair screen appears showing something about hardware changes and I have to restore my computer.
I really want to update my driver to play new games. Please help.

P.S. There is something called NVIDIA Optimus on my PC.

Hi rithvik, Welcome to Sevenforums.

First off uninstall the drivers that are installed for your Nvidia card. Also, please update your system specs. After uninstalling the drivers, clean bits of old driver with Driversweeper. After that do a clean installation of the drivers.
Sometimes, installing the drivers over the other can cause system crashes.

You might want to avoid GeForceExperience unless you absolutely need it.

Thanks for the update. So, did you remove the drivers and installed the new ones?

Try turning off onboard graphics in your bios. I take it you have 2 graphics adapters in your laptop? Just use one adapter, the NVIDIA gt 520MX graphic card. And see about disabling the Optimus software, which I think is causing your issue, not the driver itself. But first the bios, if not possible see if you can tell Optimus to use just the 520MX on maximum performance nonstop.
