Hello all,

Hope that I am posting this in the correct thread area..sorry in advance if not..lol!

I recently have been experiencing shut down issues with my pc.

Whole new rig, been using less than six months. It will completely shut down while using PS 5.1, as well as Black Ops 2, Rage, and LOL. There is no certain time period that it take to do this, it can be ten minutes or three hours. Tried to upload my NFO , but could find the correct tab to use sorry.

Any help would be great, thank you so much!

Thank you for the welcome.

I have posted below what I found in the event log file:

Hello KrazyKloun and welcome to the forums. First I'd like to know if you are overclocking? Please go into bios and set your bios to optimized defaults or defaults if tour bios does not have optimized defaults. After that, set your ram to manufacturers spece manually setting the frequency, timings and voltage. Seet your sata controller to whatever it is set to now and set the boot order to CD/DVD 1ST boot device and hard drive to 2ND boot device. Save and exit. Next, if you don't already have them, please download and install CPUz and GPUz. I would like you to post screenshots ( http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/9733-screenshots-files-upload-post-seven-forums.html) of CPUz, the CPU Tab, Memory Tab and the SPD tabs.
I would also like you to install the latest Graphics drivers (http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/43216-installing-updating-drivers-7-a.html) from AMD.
Next, please create a new folder on your desktop and label it Logs. Open GPUz and post a screenshot of it. click on the sensors tab, at the bottom of the page check the box that says log to file. When you put the check in the box a search box will come up. Navigate to your desktop and select the folder you just created named Logs. Minimize them and run the games and programs that usually cause your computer to shut down. When your computer does shut down, upload the ziped up log folders here.

Most of the activities you described doing when the computer shut down are Graphics related programs. It seems to be either a malfunctioning card, graphics drivers or possibly the PSU. Hopefully the logs and screenshots will give us some info to go on. Also please read this and run the program in there and zip up the results and post them here. http://www.sevenforums.com/bsod-help-support/96879-blue-screen-death-bsod-posting-instructions.html
