Copy & paste still not working after reformatting

Ok so about a week ago (last Tuesday) I noticed my copy & paste not working. I thought it was a fluke, so I rebooted. It happened about 2-5 times daily until I reformatted last night.

It just started happening again. I have no idea what's causing it but my job requires me to constantly copy information from emails and transfer them into design programs so I really can't be forced to reboot every time my copy & paste goes down. I've already rebooted twice today.

Please let me know any suggestions that might fix my problem. I'm at my wit's end!

It is probably something other than the operating system causing this.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm going to try this after work (still trying to get Dropbox synced up again) and I'll let you know if I discover what's causing this.
