Hello Gamers

I have two machines, one desktop and laptop. Both are using internet connection from common router, desktop with LAN cable and laptop with wifi.

I want to play counter-strike with my friend, one player in desktop and another in laptop.

is it possible, how to connect both machines for counter strike ?

regards
Pankaj

The server program is what hosts the maps and game parameters that the players will connect to.
The more powerful machine will host the server program, since it has to host as well as run the client.

Which version of Counter-Strike is this? You should be able to start your own server from the menu of either machine (from memory it may say "Create Game"/"Create Server"/"Host") - then server browse using the LAN tab
