Deactivate a Dead Computer?

How can I deactivate a dead computer?

I'd like to put my copy of Windows 7 Ultimate up for sale, but the computer it was on died. I replaced it with a Windows 8 notebook, so I can't really install it on another computer just to deactivate it.

Any ideas?

You dont need to deactivate it. The only Windows 7 you can sell is a retail version that includes the COA sticker and product key.
