desperate for help! Sims 2

Installed sims 2, I have the following expansion packs.
Pets
Nightlife
Glamour Stuff
Teen Stuff
Kitchen & Bathroom
Celebration Stuff
H&M Fashion
Family Fun Stuff

When im playing my game keeps freezing saying EP4 problem, game stopped working. I have installed all patches and my game is up to date. Please help!

Did you install the expansion packs in the order?

expansion packs 1, 2, 3, & so on.

i might not of, i didnt think it would make a difference, i installed them in any order on my old pc with no problems
