Display driver help required

Hi frnds.. I have a hp g6 2007tx model laptop supporting switchable graphics, intel graphics family + ati radeon 7670m.
It stops responding when i updated the graphics driver from hp.. It really sucks..
Pls any kind hearted person mind to suggest me a display driver for this stuff.. I should be obliged.. Pls pls..

Did you try to roll back to the earliar version and did not succeed? You can do it easily via the Device Manager.

If this does not work then all the drivers for your laptop can be downloaded from HP Pavilion g6-2007tx Drivers for Windows 7 | DriversTag

Thanks 4 ur rply wanchoo and jeevanth, i had the driver version 8.933.3.3000
It was recommended by hp... But its not working in my lappy.. when i updated this my windows index rating was decreased... ..
@wanchoo Is this the updated driver, that u mentioned in upper thread is ??

This is the driver from the HP web-site. It may or may not be the latest one. To get the latest version you should visit the manufactures site to download. You have not provided the name of the manufacturer so I have no idea who the maker is.

It is AMD.. I hav ati radeon 7670m.. When i tried 2 download the driver from this site, it only download an auto detect software which fails 2 detect my graphics card giving an error msg.. Therefore i requested 4 a direct download link for my radeon hd 7670m.. I hope u understand.. I wil be grateful 2 u if u provide that 2 me...

Good day i am new on this site and i really like the way it's operate... I have hp window7 pavilion g7 .. processor intel (R) core (TM) i3-2330M CPU@ 2.20GHz 2.20GHz and i dicover that three drivers on it are no more working and have been trying to find the solution but not working out....here are the drivers...BTHENUM, VID & 000 10001_PID & 0163, PCOUFF IN 64...

These are drivers. You try and install them. If they are not compatible they won't even install. If they install and then don't work then you can uninstall them and go back to Square One. After that you install another driver and carry on till you find one that works.

Did you download the one whose link I had sent and didn't it work? As for catalyst 12.8, install and see if that works. If it does then your problem is solved.

Thanx 4 rply buddy.. U really r a saint. I hav downloaded it. Bt it shows unsigned unless i disable the sign, unsign checking of window, at booting time, typing pressing f8.. Once it temperaryly signed it works vry fine.. After that same problem again showing "driver is unsigned". Do u have any idea how 2 make a driver signed permanently ??

Thanx buddy 4 ur help.. U r really a saint. But there's only one thing 2 ask. Tht driver is showing unsigned unless i make the window's sign check disable at the tym of booting.. Do u hav any idea how 2 make an unsigned driver signed permanently..

Is the driver working as it should now? You may have installed a beta version and they are not signed. You cannot make it signed, Microsoft does that.

Hp sucks !! The drivers r much older.. But when i downloaded 9.981.2.0 it works really fine. My system rating also increased by installing this. But unfortunately that is temperaryly.. There must be a trick.. Only i need 2 know tht. I m working on it.

Unsigned I think means that the driver has not been submitted to Microsoft for approval and passing. Just ignore the "unsigned" issue.

May be some other expert may like to comment on this unsigned business.

That's correct Wanchoo. Windows Hardware Quality Labs testing, give a driver package a WHQL certification to see that is is compatible with Windows. That is also called "signing", and makes it available to be included in Windows updates.

I personally think it is the driver makers pay money to Microsoft to obtain it too.

It works fine, but temporary? Please explain more.
