Solved Distortion sound using onboard realtek sound card on windows 7ultimate

Hello,i recently upgrade my system from xp to windows7,i use the same realtek driver and get distortions!I try severall drivers,disable all enhancements/levels on speakers properties with no result(2.1speakers-),i configure them in stereo mode,i reduce the default format to 44100 16bits(cd quality)!What should i do,there is a fix,something?On windows xp i had NO PROBLEMS!

This is an older motherboard. The RealTek is Realtek® ALC662
Have you tried the driver from RealTek? The "AC'97" Codecs are the ones to use.

I try also with the ac97 realtek drivers but the same result!

I have a recording studio. What kind of "distortions" are you getting?

According to the Foxconn specifications, 2GB is maximum memory. That is bare minimum for Windows 7 32 bit OS. Maybe memory is an issue? Some older Windows XP hardware is not really a good candidate for Windows 7.

I guess the right word in english is crackling sound,i had 2gb of memory,amd le1150 2ghz procesor!I nottice that the sound is more distorted when i move my usb mouse or the worktable by tapping the keyboard,but on windows xp with the same hardware configuration and drivers i receive nothing!This annoying sound appers even i`m wathing youtube vids or playing a movie on bsplayer!

Popping and crackling is a problem that has been reported many times on here. There is no "one fix" for the problem. Some items that have been known to cause this is sound and video drivers, Wi-Fi connections and even defective power supply.

grrr,i try using skype to talk with my aunt and i resist only 5 min because the sound issue!i think i will return to xp

Unfortunately, some older hardware is not really a good candidate for Windows 7. I'm seeing many problems with older hardware that has been upgraded to Win 7 or Win 8 on different forums.

Linux is a possibility. Try it and see what happens.
