Hi jody, welcome to Sevenforums.

Most people's DNS settings will be blank unless you set it up yourself to have a static IP address.

Is this a problem with only one browser or all browsers?

Also, I had a client who had a problem similar to this and she ended up having some entries in her hosts file. Can you check it and post a picture of it for us?

Somehow your hosts file has been edited to block some adobe product from activating. How did you obtain your copy of what Im assuming to be photoshop?

In any event, I would delete these entries and even run your malware/antivirus programs to see if this could have possibly been from a 3rd party program or virus/malware.

You can follow this guide below. Just delete all the entries that dont begin with ( # ).
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/78266-hosts-file-use-windows-7-vista.html?ltr=H

When finished, your hosts file should look similar to the picture below as a default.

Open hosts file.
Delete everything below the last line that starts with a hashtag ( # ) (or you could simply remove everything, thats fine)
Then save and exit.
