Guys, I have a Cisco VPN on my Windows 7 and I want to route traffic on the internal network environment (Local Network Adapter 1) through the Cisco VPN (its own interface).

Can this be accomplished through Windows 7? I really need to get this setup ASAP and I've been looking for ways to do this. I know how to do this in other OSes such as Server 2003/2008, but I can't use them for my particular situation.

Can anyone show me how this is done please or point me to any tips?

You should check with your IT support group at work.

Your IT security department probably does not want local traffic inside the VPN.

Yes they do, but their vpn client is limited to windows and as opposed to installing software on my windows box I'd rather just route traffic through from my Linux box.

I'm conducting an assessment (authorized) but I don't want to drift off too much here. Just need to simply know if this is possible.

Thanks!

Maybe someone will know how to help you out.

I wouldn't have a clue how to do it.

I use a VPN tool inside a VM to get to the office.
