Downloading Adobe Flash Player

My partners daughter does not have the internet as yet and needs a few programs from Adobe to run PDF documents and demos.

Now I have loaded Reader, Air, and shock wave onto a stick to install them but the Flash Player I cannot find a download to go onto the stick it always ends up with rubbish about trying / testing it.

The stuff that I have been able to load is through mirror sites as get.Adobe is simply hopeless.

Any ideas please?

There seems to be archived offline versions of Flash installers: Archived Flash Player versions I think these are offline because the file size is very large so they should work if the newest ones do not install because of a connection problem.

Thanks folks I have now downloaded the alternative PDF program the .exe and the archived version and will try them tomorrow.

I think the problem was in part this laptop is et up in 8.1 and it has a nasty habit of trying make decisions for you - like trying it for 8 (drove me nuts until I got your replies).
