I am sorry for not reading this entire thread but I was wondering if there are any drivers for Quadro 2500M or if there will ever be any. I have seen some on this forum use Windows 7 and the Dell M90 with the Quadro 2500M but I cannot figure out how to do it. Thanks so much.

Could this be it?
NVIDIA DRIVERS 195.62 WHQL
If not, keep looking at the nvidia drivers selections for notebook drivers, try them all

Things can be a little funky with mobile GPUs, because of manufacturer's tendencies to modify the device IDs.

The latest drivers at support.dell.com for the M90 are for Vista. They may work for Win7.

Microsoft Update also has Win7 drivers for the 2500M, dated 3/6/09. The nVidia 195.62 drivers posted above are newer, but I don't see the 2500m explicitly in the supported products list.

Yeah, but 2700m is close enough. Most drivers work on near models.

I haven't tried any of the drivers you have specified but I got one to work by editing a NV_DISP.inf file I found when the driver extracted. The tutorial is on here somewhere. Since there are specifically no drivers for the 2500M and windows 7 I modified the .inf file from a 1500 non-mobile to a 2500M and so far so good. Do you think I should try the driver specified above or just stick with what is working?

I couldn't figure out how to run Vista drivers on Windows 7 and I have downloaded the computability for XP. If someone thinks this will be better than the driver I modified then please tell me.

If this thing you've done works, dont throw it away. However, if it stops working, try my suggestion ( the 2700m driver)

By far the best solution is to just get it from Microsoft. Yes they really do have it.

- Go here: Microsoft Update Catalog
- Enter in the Search box eg. Quadro FX 2500M
- In this case (windows 7) there are four results, the top two are the most recent (2009)
- Look at the sizes. The larger one is the 64 bit version, smaller is 32 bit
- Click the Download button on the right for the version you need
- Its a CAB file. Extract it to a folder with 7Zip or what have you.
- Run Setup, reboot if required
- Smile like an idiot
