I would like to know if it is possible to use the Dual LAN on my MB for the following.
Connection A. Maintain internet connectivity for current computer programs. Connection B. Connect to my works VPN through the internet.
Whenever I connect to my company VPN it kicks out the internet connect for other programs. So if i am working online on one screen and working from my work computer on the other by RDC I cant do both at the same time. I am able to connect to the internet on the VPN'd computer but that is not what I am looking to complete.
I'm not sure if the Dual LAN is going to be able to view the connections differently or if the NIC is viewing them as one in windows. I don't seem to be able to assign the VPN connection to just one LAN with out affecting the other LAN 2. They are both going to the route with different cables. They both have different IP address and different MAC address. The connections are not bridged. Can someone let me know if this is possible. If I was not able to explain the details enough please let me so I can try and clear things up.
