Edge hard to get booted

I am just wondering why Edge is so hard to get booted up in Windows 7. Sometimes I have hit the icon 20 times and then when it does give a window it takes forever to open any page.

Does anyone else have this issue?

Your system specs doesn't mention which security software's you are using.

I know some anti-virus software is configurable to scan each and every internet item encountered by any and all web browsers installed on the pc.

You might consider "whitelisting" some things in your security softwares, including any firewalls you are using.

I wouldn't whitelist any web browser though, only whitelist what the web browser visits on a regular basis.
