emachine factory reset

windows 7 had to do factory reset
now monitor is only generic pnp
NVidia card
flat panel
only shows 2 resolutions, top one and bottom one, I need a middle one
update monitor and windows says best driver installed
help if you can

It sounds like it's not detecting your GPU card as Nvidia. Did you install the Nvidia drivers from this site:

Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers

That's the place to get them from. Using Windows update may not work in this case.

I have actually found NVidia control panel, it is telling me to change from standard to advanced for more resolutions, can't do it now but will let you know
