Hello. I've encountered this issue once before and can't remember what the fix was. Making me crazy. It had plagued me for months!

When I attach a perfect photo to an email what the recipient receives is a desaturated, dark, terrible looking version of it. If I open the email with my cell phone, the image looks dark and colorless. However, if I open the email from my PC with Windows Photo Viewer, the Default program, it looks perfect, but if I then click the slideshow button within Windows Photo Viewer, the image changes to dark and crappy.

Also, If I use the HP Photo Viewer to open the image it is dark and crappy.

I've tried changing the default profile to sRGB IEC61966-2.1, as I've seen recommended in another post with same symptom of photo viewer changing, though they had mentioned nothing about the email issues.

Thanks for your reply.
The images are the same ones that worked 48 hours before that.. No changes were made so i'm pretty sure it has something to do with a setting in windows or an update screw up or something and not with the image files.. I checked recent updates and came up empty. But to be sure I restored from a point 3 days before the day on which the last one loaded and sent correctly.

It just overnight changed. POOF!! you're screwed..
