Epson V 330 Photo Scanner Software

I've been using an Epson V330 scanner for several years, but recently changed my protection software back to Security Essentials. Since then I have not been able to use the Epson drivers and can only scan with the very limited Microsoft control panel link. When I click on the Epson driver icon it flashes on to the bottom panel and then disappears. I've tried to get Epson and MS help without success, including downloading new drivers. The error message I get is attached. Anyone else had this problem? Harls

Do you have the latest driver (driver and Epson scan utility)? Epson Perfection V330 Photo, Drivers & Downloads - Technical Support - Epson America, Inc.

Also, RIGHT click on the icon to install and then LEFT click "Run as Administrator" and see if that lets you reinstall it.
