I have just done a fresh install from a beta win 7 to retail win 7 and i was downloading AIM and installing Ventrilo, i had a blue screen and a crash because of a critical error, Kernel-Power, Event-ID: 41. Im not sure what caused this, does anyone have an idea?

i have overclocked the i7 920, to 3.4 ghz, i have crossfire 4890 toxic's, 3x 500gb HD's in a stripe raid, 12 gb ram.

i was also having this same error in the beta, and it seems this error has not been fixed, at least for me. this is frustrating cause i cant use my computer to its full potential, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I have been doing a memtest on my 12GB of ram, its gone through 14 passes, over 25 hours, with 0 errors.

the most recent error that was logged was:
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000001e (0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 122809-32421-01.

Please run these tests first:
H/W Diagnostics:
Please start by running these hardware diagnostics:
Memory Diagnostics (read the details at the link)
HD Diagnostic (read the details at the link)

Also, please run one of these free, independent online malware scans to ensure that your current protection hasn't been compromised: Malware (read the details at the link)

And please provide us with this information:
Please go to C:\Windows\Minidump and zip up the contents of the folder. Then upload/attach the .zip file with your next post.
{Left click on the first minidump file.
Hold down the "Shift" key and left click on the last minidump file.
Right click on the blue highlighted area and select "Send to"
Select "Compressed (zipped) folder" and note where the folder is saved.
Upload that .zip file with your next post.

If you have issues with "Access Denied" errors, try copying the files to your desktop and zipping them up from there. If it still won't let you zip them up, post back for further advice.

If you don't have anything in that folder, please check in C:\Windows for a file named MEMORY.DMP. If you find it, zip it up and upload it to a free file hosting service - then post the link to it.
Then, follow the directions here to set your system for Minidumps (much smaller than the MEMORY.DMP file): Set MiniDump

The link that I gave has bootable ISO's listed for most hard drive makes. What make is your hard drive?

Please provide this info:
MSINFO32:
Please go to Start and type in "msinfo32.exe" (without the quotes) and press Enter
Save the report as an .nfo file, then zip up the .nfo file and upload/attach the .zip file with your next post.

If you're having difficulties with the format, please open an elevated (Run as administrator) Command Prompt and type "msinfo32 /nfo C:\Users\Public\Desktop\TEST.NFO" (without the quotes) and press Enter. Then navigate to the C:\Users\Public\Desktop directory to retrieve the TEST.NFO file. If you have difficulties with making this work, please post back.

i found the maker of my hard drive and everything i needed, when i go to the website for my hard drive i am about to burn the iso with magic iso, and magic iso tells me that the iso isnt a bootable one. I know that my magic iso works cause i used magic iso to burn the memtest to a CD and it booted from that just fine, and magic iso said it was bootable.

also i have tried mounting the correct ISO using nero 9 and magic ISO and neither would boot, when i selected CDROM or DVDROM in the boot options list, the CDROM option just says there is no bootable operation found, and the DVDROM just boots into windows. I do not see how those ISO's are bootable.
