First, let me say that I very much appreciate whs for the wonderful tutorial and for pointing me in the direction of EasyBCD; with it I was able to solve an issue that was about to drive me to tears.

I followed the above instructions to the letter and when I later tried to restart I kept getting "bootmgr is missing"
I finally had to sort things out with a system repair disc.
I have three more computers to do; is my experience a rare occurrence or a common event ?
Did I do something wrong or not do something I should have ?
Not being real savvy, I am a bit gun-shy of proceeding with the rest of our computers.
