Hi I recently shutdown my computer after it was stuck on preparing to configure windows when it was shutting down. I restarted my laptop and now I get the message saying failure to configure windows reverting changes, which has been ikn the screen for about 2 hours now. I tried to do system repair and it found nothing. There are also no available system restore points.
I also tried booting in safe mode and it still shows the failure to configure windows message.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

It's easier to do it from Windows - although you could use any burning tool to create the DVD from a downloaded ISO. There's a specific Windows tool for converting the ISO to a bootable USB stick, but I don't know how to do it from Linux
