The problem is as follows:

When I go to "C:\Program Files (x86)" I can't seem to find a folder that I'm looking for but, when installed the program that created the folder it took space in my hard drive and when I start the installer again and it asks me to select from a drop-down menu the location in which I want to install the program to, it shows me the folder previously installed...

Why are there folders missing?

There are two folders named "Program Files". Since you have a x64 bit system. Try looking into the other location.

Alright then, go to "C:\" and manually type in the location of the folder you want to go to in the navigation bar, try this out.

What program is this? Also, are you sure it installs into the "ProgramFiles" location, it could be installed just into "C:\".

Does it (the folder) have hidden properties? Have you ticked the "show hidden files and folders" checkbox in Advanced system Settings > Properties?

I have met this problem before. Where did the program come from? Is it a disc if so where did that come from? Or is it a download, if so from where?

Yes, I've done that but nothing...

@mitchell65
It's a download, I'm not sure from where since I don't keep track of all my downloads but it's some sort of image (.iso file) that has an automatic installer and once it starts running, the "select destination" window pops up.

I'm not into gaming but this looks like a game to me? If so could it be a torrent download? I'm asking these questions because i think the download might be corrupt and it might be necessary for you to download it again. Could you find where it came from if you wanted to download it again?
What you might try is creating another folder in the "C" drive named something like "Program Files 2" and installing it there!

I'm gonna try that but it's a bit illogical that a folder appears somewhere and not in another place... I'm not certain but I do believe it was a torrent, the file wasn't corrupt because the iso file was extrected from severall rar files, if they where corrupt I wouldn't have been able to extract the image file...

It means when you installed the application was not given Administrator privileges (Run as Admin). When it tried to write to a protected location Windiows Virualized it and redirect it to the VirualStore.

Okay, thank you so much, I'll try to install it correctly and will say if it worked or not later.
