Free Backup Software for your HD

hey i burned the linux based cd but when i tried to boot from it, it comes with a green background screen which says Please Wait and its just stuck there from last 5 mins. is it normal?

No, that's not normal - it loads almost instantly for 99% of people.

You may have some strange hardware incompatibility.

You could try creating another boot cd - this time use the Advanced options and select Compatibility.
